What is Complementary Therapy?
Complementary therapies are not an alternative to conventional medical care - they can be used alongside to help relax you and calm your mind, body and spirit. If you are suffering with a chronic condition, Complementary therapies can help to improve quality of life and bring comfort. If you are experiencing conditions such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, migraines, hormone issues, digestive issues, arthritis, ear/sinus congestion, hayfever, back, neck or shoulder tension or postural tension, then please feel free to contact me as I may very well be able to help support you. In some cases, there may be conditions or illnesses where treatment may not be appropriate, or you may need to obtain advice from your GP beforehand, and for this reason I will complete a full consultation with you before treatment commences.
What areas do you cover as a mobile therapist?
I work on a mobile basis in Caterham and the surrounding areas of Coulsdon, Reigate, Chaldon, Merstham, Woldingham, Warlingham, Redhill, Oxted, Selsdon, Sanderstead, Banstead, Carshalton, Wallington, Tadworth, Godstone and Bletchingley - mostly within an 8 mile radius but I will sometimes travel further afield if you're happy to pay an extra charge.
What can I expect during a reflexology treatment?
I will bring everything I need with me; reflexology chair or couch, towels, and a chair for me to sit on! All you will need to do is make sure your room is warm and comfortable, and you are welcome to play some relaxing music if you wish. Reclining in my comfortable chair you will remain fully clothed, although I will need to access your lower legs so tight jeans might not be the best choice!
What can I expect during a massage treatment?
I will bring my massage couch, towels and my heated blanket for you to lie on. You will be fully covered during the massage, except when I am working on a particular area. I use locally sourced (mostly organic) pre-blended oils, or unscented oils depending on your preference. All you need to do is make sure your room is warm and comfortable, and you are welcome to play some relaxing music if you wish.
What is your cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel your appointment, I would be grateful if you could give me at least 24 hours notice, to avoid paying the full treatment fee.
